work,christmas and me time!!

Today is Saturday and busy as a bee at work, all the holiday makers and christmas shoppers are out in force!!! Ah no car parks,get run over by prams,strollers, nanna trolleys and kids on the loose!!!! Boxing day and they will be out in force again taking all the unwanted gifts back, LOL!!!! Humans, we are funny creature’s!!! Then home time, sore feet and tired, thought I would try and sus this out a bit more, think I am getting the hang of it, time will tell. Oh well good night and hope tomorrow will be a beautiful bright day! Below is a bit of my sister’s sculpture art, it is a letter box of our late mother, she had a great sense of humor and would have loved this. Enjoy!

My first day on wordpress

Well greetings to you all, today I decided to give this blog thing ago thanks to dear Sam Menzies who is a beautiful inspiration to me and my creative journey, she is always giving me great positive feedback on my arty work,thanks Sam (The Hoarders Daughter on wordpress) 

So bear with me if I make errors in how to work this site out, am getting the gist of it and hopefully have it down to a fine art. I live on the Mornington Peninsular in Victoria with my spoilt rotten cat called “Floyd” alias his other name is “Fluffy Bum” hence his is big fluffy and ginger with a awesome basil brush tail, he is my constant companion and thinks he is the boss!!!!! 

Having moved here 3 years ago, I stumpled across an awsesome art shop in Dromana called “Textile Artistry” run by a beautiful friend called Cath, her shop and ev eryone who goes there are really positive creative arty people who have formed great friends together. I have learn’t to do mixed media textile art, felting,scrumbling,painting,dying of fabrics etc…..  thanks to Cath and her creative staff and teachers…. Pamela,Robyn,Corrie,Dianne,Sam etc… I have learn’t a very wide and varied alternative art which has also brought me to a different level in my creative side. I have formed some wonderful friends through these classes and have great buddies such as Glynis,Pat,Roasemary,Chris,etc… I am sure that next year will be just as interesting with doing Pamelas monthly group and out exhibition at the end of the year.
